I am glad I tried Narita. I would not mind venturing into the restaurant again sometime. I have a more regular spot. But this establishment was competent and deserves to succeed. I had the chirashi. That is the best dish for three reasons. First, it offers maximum quantity for the price point, the most raw fish compared to either sushi or sashimi for the same amount of money, and much more than a la carte ordering. Second, it gives the diner greater control over the protein to starch ratio, because it is a bowl of rice and you can have as little or as much with each bite as you prefer; I typically want less than would be customary. Third, it demonstrates to the chef you are experienced as a diner with this cuisine, and I would bet the chef will be more favorable in their selection if they believe you have some understanding of their art. The service was satisfactory. I could see someone who was impatient becoming impatient. But it was fine; I have no complaints. I'd rather their attitude than too much hovering and intrusion. For whatever reason, I had not noticed Narita before. I frequent this street. I must have passed right by more than once. I am glad I finally stopped in, and I am sure I will do so again sometime.

First time ordering take-out sushi from this neighborhood spot. I was pleasantly surprised since I always felt like it was overpriced. I got three types of rolls and a piece of ikura sushi. First of the ikura roe was delish- so fresh and the perfect bite. I got three random rolls to try, and it was delicious and refreshing to see so many different options. Windsor, Burns, Darmouth roll - I don't remember which was which but I enjoyed my eel and massago roll, the second was the tuna and fluke and third was the salmon tempura roll. I would definitely get it again as the fish was fresh, and the rice was nicely seasoned.

Location: Forest Hills Service: good enough Ambiance: clean bathrooms, clean, nice and cozy inside. Food: ordered shrimp TEMPURA: it was okay but too much coating. SHUMAI (crab and shrimp) I want more of it so thats the reason why I am coming back haha. We had chicken popcorn (i could be wrong, i forgot the name but I'll put the photo) I like it mixed with the sauce. The Yaki UDON had bitter aftertaste, I chose beef and mixed veggies. I didn't like it that much. Also, Grilled SALMON in teriyaki sauce-- it was so so good.... Hope to try different menu nxt time.

My friends and I have checked this place out recently. I got the spicy tuna roll, tempura, miso soup, and a beef teriyaki. The food tasted amazing. Service was decent (waitress was very nice). When I return back to Forest Hills, I will definitely come back here! Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5
